20×20 Charter

Phoenix Cycling Club are proud to announce that we are now supporting the 20×20 Charter and we would like to introduce our male and female 20×20 Champions James Gordon and Rebecca Fitzgerald. Though it may look like a shot from crime watch believe me both members were delighted to take on their new roles which will involve encouraging and promoting more women to take up cycling. With the help of Phoenix Cycling Club, Rebecca and James will be trying their best to

1. Actively increase visibility of female members, from beginner to elite, across all social media platforms.

2. To increase the number of females in the club and those participating as ride leaders, coaches, volunteers, racers and committee members.

3. To encourage members to participate in female sporting events, taster sessions and open days and to share the events on social media with ‘check-ins’ and the following tags @20×20.ie, #showyourstripes #cantseecantbe #thinkitaskit
